Bisnow recently hosted Oakland’s Annual State of the Market Summit, with Mayor Libby Schaaf presiding as the keynote speaker. From office and housing to industrial, investors are pining for assets in Oakland and developers are building more in this cycle than ever before. Oakland has shed its reputation as a city full of crime for a city full of investment and building opportunities.

Truebeck’s own Travis Schultz was selected to speak as a panelist, along side leading developers and architects in the region. The panel discussion included topics such as:

• Where are East Bay real estate investors placing their money?
• With San Francisco office rents reaching new heights, is Oakland ready for steady growth?
• With the Golden State Warriors and Uber headed to Mission Bay: who is going to become the rising star tenant in the East Bay?
• And more!
