If you want to be trusted, be honest. If you want to be honest, be true. If you want to be true, be yourself.
Construction has been a natural curiosity for me since I was a child. I have been interested in building since I was able to pick up a tool. I enjoyed spending quality time with my father, learning how to build things and understanding how things work.
I really enjoy working in the construction industry because every project is different. Each project has its own challenges, unique solutions, and different personalities.
I love collaborating with teams to find the best solution. Creating an environment that inspires collaboration and healthy debate is so important. It helps teams analyze different viewpoints, emphasizes teamwork over individual interests, and usually results in the most efficient problem solving. There’s truly nothing like rallying a team to agree on the optimal solution and witnessing the outcomes unfold.
I aspire to be a positive role model and mentor for others, guiding and inspiring them to reach their fullest potential. Witnessing individuals reach their goals through encouragement and support, brings me immense personal satisfaction. Together, our collective efforts can create a far-reaching impact on the world that surpasses what I could achieve alone.
Don’t be afraid to use your voice and communicate new ideas. Ideas won’t become reality unless you speak up.
Every day after work, I look forward to the moment I walk through the front door and am greeted by my wife and kids. They mean the world to me and motivate me to be my best.
My parents have been my greatest teachers. Their guidance and support throughout my life has made such an impact in who I am today. They instilled in me a resilient work ethic and a relentless determination to pursue my dreams without compromise.
A positive attitude is what I value most in the workplace. Construction can be difficult at times and a positive attitude helps maintain the “can do” mindset and determination to find the solution.
At Truebeck, it is all about the people and the culture. I look forward to coming to work every day knowing I will be challenged, appreciated, and supported. The best part is that I get to do all of this with my friends—amazing people I’ve met here over the last 15 years.
I value the camaraderie we have established with our teams. Everyone focuses on making decisions to benefit the team and we help each other along the way.
Navigating work-life balance after starting a family has proven to be the most challenging aspect of my career. I am deeply committed to both my job and my family, and it has required a deliberate and delicate balancing act.
My amazing wife Shayna has been instrumental in my ability to successfully navigate and adapt to the daily challenges inherent in being a working father and husband. Her support allows me to dedicate myself to both my career and my amazing family.
