Nestled near the intersection of Highways 92 and 101, the 439,000sf San Mateo Bay Center consists of two seven-story office buildings. The project vision includes the conversion of these two existing multi-story office buildings, with associated surface parking, to combined lab and office buildings, each building targeting a 50/50 ratio of lab and office space. The project also includes a fitness center for building tenants. The conversion includes the construction of a new central utility plant for shared HVAC and electrical utilities between the two buildings to support necessary lab functions.
