Truebeck Builds Play Structure for Ronald McDonald House at Stanford
We’re pleased to announce that Brad’s Park is officially open! Our partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, celebrated the grand opening of their newest play area with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The park, complete with walking paths, turf, a vegetable garden, stage, and more, will provide families staying at the Ronald McDonald House with space to relax, spend time outdoors, and connect with the community as their children receive medical treatment.
RMHC Bay Area reached out to Truebeck and invited us to build a play structure for the new park. We collaborated with design partner EHDD to bring a fruit stand-inspired play house to life. Together, we designed, built, and painted the structure, creating a whimsical space for children at the house to enjoy.
This park was dedicated to longtime RMHC supporter, Brad Lyman. During his 15 years of service as a Ronald McDonald House at Stanford board member, Brad helped raise over $47 million and played a key role in developing and expanding RMHC Stanford into what it is today. After Brad’s passing, his friends, family, and supporters came together to create this outdoor space to honor his service to the community. To learn more, see the Business Wire article here.
