Truebeck is uniquely successful because of our people. Our company comprises a collective group of people who are extremely passionate about improving construction and positively impacting the built environment.
I’ve always loved building. My parents have photos of me in my crib with large block structures!
The future of our industry is so exciting. There is major opportunity in mass timber and modular construction, both of which offer sustainable alternatives and faster construction times. Additionally, integrating AI presents an exciting chance to enhance our processes and drive innovation. Leveraging our expertise in these areas will allow us to meet the growing demand for efficient building solutions.
I am so proud of our team. Their dedication, passion, and camaraderie are unparalleled.
Integrity is a characteristic I value above all others. I believe it is crucial to fostering accountability, trust, and transparency—all of which are the fundamental building blocks of a strong team, and a strong company.
I am deeply passionate about creating more space for women in construction. I aim to empower the next generation of female leaders by providing access to training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
Construction is an opportunity to make a lasting difference. We build projects that not only enhance the physical infrastructure but also have a positive impact on our communities and on the world. I love being part of an industry that allows me to actively contribute to the built environment, and to society as a whole.
The toughest part of my career was opening the Portland office while my family was growing. I was balancing giving my all to our new office while figuring out how to be a new parent/mom.
Our industry is in unprecedented times. For preconstruction specifically, I think the global unrest and unpredictable markets have impacted predicting escalations. We’ve put a big effort into our Truebeck Construction Index to help aid with this ever-changing market but it’s still no crystal ball. We need to stay nimble and solution-driven, coming up with creative solutions to any new challenges.
Balance keeps me energized and I recharge by spending quality time with others. There’s nothing I look forward to more than a slow Saturday morning at home with my three kids and husband followed by a big run or hike outside.
I love lists! It’s how I stay on top of everything. Each evening, I make a list and prioritize which 20% will make the most impact and start the next day with those tasks.
Portland is home. I was born and raised here, and it is extremely fulfilling to be back, contributing to my community and growing the Truebeck office. I have so much pride in the people here, and the work we’re doing.
